Passion for photography runs in the
family, and Chris is no exception. From the moment he captured his
first image as a teenager, Chris has been fascinated with the discipline.
His interests initially focused on nature, landscape and wildlife
photography, but photographing people followed closely behind.
Chris has forever been a student of
natural history. A California native, Chris spent his entire childhood
gaining exposure to the diverse terrain California has to offer.
His early years were spent in the Sierra Nevada foothills surrounding
Oroville and Quincy. From there he experienced the only part of
snow country that southern California has to offer that is Big Bear
City. Beautiful San Diego was next, to be followed by the alpine
community of Mt. Shasta in the extreme northern part of the state.
His college years exposed him to the urban beauty of the Bay Area,
after which he settled down in the river city of Sacramento. This
exposure has helped Chris develop a deep appreciation for all things
natural.
Wedding and portrait photography requires
a strong interpersonal adaptive skill. Chris genuinely enjoys working
and interacting with people. He works to ensure their expectations
are exceeded; client satisfaction is his ultimate goal. With the
move to digital technology, being technically savvy is no longer
a bonus, it's a requirement. Chris personally creates your heirloom
images in his digital darkroom.
With the continued evolution
of digital photography, it is important to remain at the cutting
edge of what is available. Chris uses high end digital SLR equipment
from Canon and he upgrades to newer technology as necessary.
